About the Founder

Threshold Residency was created by a team of educators, facilitators, and technologists who’ve worked with young people for over a decade.

The public face of the project is Miles Everen — an experienced educator and communicator with a background in software, startups, and youth development. He’s seen what happens when young people drift without direction — and how fast they can grow when given the right structure and support.

This pilot is the first step toward building the kind of launchpad we wish we’d had at that age.

Frequently Asked Questions

What if I change my mind?

Your £250 deposit is fully refundable until your place is confirmed, and you can claim a 100% refund anytime during Week 1 if the course isn’t right for you.

Is this a gap‑year course?

Sort of — just shorter and laser‑focused on launching you fast. Many participants plan to start apprenticeships or uni immediately afterward.

Is this therapy?

No. We provide coaching and outdoor challenges, but not clinical therapy. Participants should be in a stable place mentally to benefit fully.

Why start on a Sunday?

Arriving the day before classes lets you settle in, meet the cohort over dinner, and hit the ground running Monday morning. Accommodation and meals from Sunday evening are included in the fee.
